Your First Text

Getting started with Figaro takes about 30 seconds. Here’s what to do.

Step 1: Text the number

Send any message to:

+1 (XXX) XXX-XXXX

You can say anything — “hi”, “hello”, or just start with a request.

Step 2: Confirm opt-in

You’ll receive a message asking you to reply YES to confirm you want to use Figaro. This is required for SMS compliance.

Figaro: Reply YES to confirm you want to receive messages from Figaro. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel.

You: YES

Figaro: FIGARO FIGARO FIIIIGAAAROOOO! I’m your new assistant. What can I help you with?

Step 3: Set up your profile (optional but recommended)

Tell Figaro your name

My name is Sarah

Set your location (for weather)

I'm in Seattle

or

I live in Austin, Texas

Connect your calendar

Can I connect my Google Calendar?

Figaro will send you a link to authorize access.

Step 4: Start using it!

Now you’re ready. Try any of these:

Tips for new users

Be natural

Figaro understands natural language. You don’t need special commands or syntax. Just talk to it like you’d talk to a person.

✅ “Add bread, milk, and eggs to my grocery list” ✅ “Remind me tomorrow at 9am to send that email” ✅ “What do I have going on this week?”

Be brief

Figaro works via text message, so it keeps responses short. You can be brief too.

✅ “Add milk” (if you’ve been talking about groceries) ✅ “What’s tomorrow look like?” ✅ “Weather?”

One thing at a time works, but batching works too

You can send multiple requests in one message:

“Add milk, eggs, and bread to groceries, and remind me to go shopping at 4pm”

Figaro will handle all of it.
